Changing the header background colour

Add this snippet to Settings -> General -> Advanced Settings -> Custom CSS:

header {
background: #780B47 !important;
color: white !important;
}

In this example, I changed the background from white to burgundy (the background: #780B47 !important; is responsible for that), and to make sure that my text is still readable, I also changed the font color to white.
